In May of 2022, the BIG3 basketball league decided to sell digital assets that represent ownership in their twelve team franchises. Alongside other NFT communities and groups like Vayner Sports, Krause House DAO, Moonbirds, Axie Infinity, Moonbirds, and Bored Ape Yacht Club, The Ace acquired the rights to the BIG3’s Power franchise. Acquiring the BIG3 ownership gave us the rights put our Ace NFT on the uniform for all the world to see, and some incredible other perks and utilities. In our first year powering the Power, the team, led by coach Nancy Lieberman and co-captain Cuttino Mobley, made it to the championship game in Atlanta. As a perk to our ownership, we provided 20 hotel rooms for our holders who wanted to attend the game. Although we came up short of winning a ring, we are ready for 2023! The BIG3 championship game brought in over 1 million viewers on its CBS broadcast and all regular season games on CBS consistently brought in more viewers than their sports counterparts--WNBA, MLB, and MLS.

If you are interested in partnering with the BIG3 Power please fill out the form here, or send an email to big3power@theaces.xyz.

Mobley attended the University of Rhode Island and was selected in the second round of the 1998 NBA Draft by the Houston Rockets. Mobley and backcourt mate Steve Francis formed one of the NBA’s best scoring duos during their time together in Houston. Mobley later signed with the Los Angeles Clippers, and in 2006 helped lead them to their first playoff series victory since moving to California in 1978. Born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, White was the 2009 Mr. Basketball Minnesota and won two state championships before deciding to attend University of Minnesota and then Iowa State.

At a time when seemingly every team was looking for the next Dirk Nowitzki, Nikoloz “Skita” Tskitishvili was taken with the #5 overall pick by the Denver Nuggets in the 2002 NBA Draft. Standing at a true 7 feet tall with three-point range, the native of the Republic of Georgia was clearly dripping with talent.

Skita played four years in the NBA, then played professionally in Europe from 2006 to 2011.

The son of Power Coach Nancy Lieberman, Cline has experience playing pro basketball in Europe and Israel. As you would expect from the son of “Lady Magic,” he has a formidable combination of size and passing ability. He’s particularly deadly from the pinch post, and his basketball IQ is, unsurprisingly, off the charts. Also, he’s more than capable of stepping beyond the arc and keeping the floor spaced for his guards by knocking down the deep ball.
